Music on Fire Concert
Producer Sir Major Michael Parker

A concert on behalf of the Army Benevolent Fund and Produced by Sir Major Michael Parker.
All in the grounds of the historic Sandhurst Military Academy. The concert was performed
over 3 days and to 25000 people

Westbeach took on Technical Management for the concert involving choosing and contacting
all suppliers and departments.

Over 2 weeks a 25m covered stage and a 60m VIP structure where built.
150m wide projection on the Old Collage complemented the concert along with 2 containers
of Fireworks.

In total; 45 lorrys of equipment and stage was used requiring 2 cranes and 6 generators

 

Visa RoadShow

This was a month long roadshow to seven cites around europe. Each show needed a
Conference and an exhibition for 50-150 people.

To work in the budget we where unable to view the venues beforehand so had to come up
with a design to fit into a number of rooms and fit through standard doors

We worked extensively with the hotels beforehand to produces plans and layouts for each
room.

In total the truck that covered 6000 miles with 2 people from the UK and local crew to keep
the costs to the minimum.


Football For Africa
Producer Sir Major Michael Parker

A concert at the Royal Albert Hall to raise money for the Aids /HIV units in Africa
This was a concert involving 2000 people from 60 choirs to meet and perform together
in a one day concert.


With the Albert Hall calendar full the show had to be build in open day and be derigged
straight after the event. This made it important to design around as much of the existing
Infrastructure as possible.


The sound of 2000 piece choir is something to be remembered.

in Saudi Arabia

Working with the existing Dubai Technical Management team we built 3 structures reaching
1/3 kilometer. This including theatre for 3500 with moving walls to reveal the University.
Over a 3 month period structures and equipment where built in the desert 60 miles from Jeddah.
this involved shipping and Airfreight from UK, France, Dubai, Australia, and others.

Despite working in 120deg and with sand storms the project was a great success and the
King left happy
